Dear Students, Parents, and Well-Wishers,
On behalf of Kathmandu Model Hospital Institute of Health Sciences (KMHIHS), I extend a warm welcome and heartfelt congratulations to all who have taken the first step toward achieving their academic and professional goals.
I express my deepest gratitude to our parents, faculty, staff, students, and well-wishers. Your continued support, dedication, and trust have enabled KMHIHS to grow and establish its reputation as one of Nepal’s leading technical institutes in allied health sciences.
KMHIHS is committed to delivering high-quality, competency-based technical and vocational education in nursing, pharmacy, dental sciences, radiography, and laboratory technology, in accordance with the standards of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Our mission is to foster academic excellence, ethical practice, innovation, and community-oriented healthcare services, and to develop skilled, compassionate healthcare professionals who can meet both national and global health needs.
The institute offers Diploma-level programs designed to address unemployment by preparing qualified technical manpower to support the nation’s healthcare and development priorities. Our graduates serve across Nepal—from Kathmandu to remote districts—and around the world, demonstrating the effectiveness of our training and the strength of our alumni.
I extend my sincere appreciation to our accomplished team of faculty and staff. Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to student development are central to our success. Many of our educators bring over a decade of experience, while newer members have quickly demonstrated excellence in teaching and practice.
Finally, I thank the founders, colleagues, stakeholders, and everyone associated with KMHIHS for their contributions to our journey and achievements since establishment. Together, we will continue to uphold our standards and advance our mission.
With best wishes for a successful and rewarding academic year.
Bina Maharjan
Principal
